Key Product(s) and Audience: Students will produce an ocean animal or picture collage made out of items found in our ocean. Students will have researched the amount of trash that ends up in our ocean and how that has effected our community and the ocean life animals. Students will be exhibiting at an Un Mar De Colores Surf Event or at the Birch Aquarium.
Learning Goals: Students will be able to organize, represent, and interpret data with up to three categories; ask and answer questions about the total number of data points, how many in each category, and how many more or less are in one category than in another. Create weekly reflections on ways they have learned to protect the ocean life through research, articles, field work experiences, and more!
